The Canary Islands add almost 5,400 new infections and 11 deaths in the last 24 hours

    The Canary Islands have registered 5,369 new cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, so the total number of accumulated cases in the Islands since the start of the pandemic is already 182,826 with 69,922 active, of which 65 are admitted to the ICU and 456 remain hospitalized.

    In the last hours the death of eleven people has been notified: seven in Tenerife and four in Gran Canaria, pending validation by the General Directorate of Public Health. The total of deaths with COVID-19 in the Islands since the pandemic began already rises to 1,195.
