Vehicle rental companies will recover

Vehicle rental companies will recover in 2023 to levels they saw prior to the pandemic. This year they registered 85% of the revenue made in 2019 according to the forecasts of the National Business Association of Rental Vehicles.

The president of the organization, Javier Díaz-Laviada, indicated that the ‘rent a car’ sector is currently in a “moment of transition and recovery”, after the “brutal” impact of Covid, which caused a loss of income of  90% in territories such as the Balearic and Canary Islands.
