25 migrants in waters near Gran Canaria rescued
Maritime Rescue and Civil Guard have rescued a boat with 25 immigrants when they were in waters near the island of Gran Canaria, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre of the 112 of the Canary Islands.
In the boat were 25 people of sub-Saharan origin, including seven women and one minor. All of them were transferred to the Arguineguín port, in the municipality of Mogán.
Once at the port, the migrants were assisted by medical personnel, all of whom were in good health.
