A fishing vessel with 18 tons of hashish stopped in the south of the Canary Islands

The Tax Agency has intervened in Atlantic waters, south of the Canary Islands, a fishing vessel with the Panamanian flag that was carrying about 18,000 kilos of hashish, for which they have arrested its three crew members, of Ukrainian nationality.

The so-called 'Avio' operation , carried out by the Customs Surveillance Service based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, was completed last Saturday morning when the exploitation phase was carried out with the ship 'Sacre', which It allowed the completion of a previous four-month follow-up and analysis work carried out by the Office of Maritime Intelligence (OIM) for Customs Surveillance in Galicia.
