A third wave of haze reaches the islands

The islands will experience a third wave of Saharan dust this today, due to an intense storm in the middle of North Africa blown by the east-southeast wind, with very strong intervals, especially in high and mid-range areas of the more mountainous islands.

The Aemet keeps the yellow warning for suspended dust active at least until 5:59 p.m. on today. Visibility is expected to be reduced to about 3,000 meters, occasionally and locally reducing it to 1,500 meters. It will mainly affect the eastern and southern slopes.
