Change in covid-19 decree-law

The Canary Islands Government will shortly modify the decree-law that obliges tourists to present a negative diagnostic test for covid-19 when staying in a hotel establishment. Since last Friday this test has not been requested from passengers who arrive at the islands from any other area of Spain. The director of Canary Islands Health Service, Conrado Domínguez, has advanced that it will be predictably this Thursday when the Governing Council changes the text to be “in the same line” as the order decreed by the Ministry of Health, so that it is possible to enter the Canary Islands without proof as long as it is proven by immunization against the coronavirus or, at least, to have received the first dose of the vaccine within a maximum period of 15 days.
