La Palma registers 18 new seismic movements in the early hours of Tuesday
The National Geographic Institute (IGN) has located during the first hours of this Tuesday 18 seismic movements on the Canary Island of La Palma, of which the largest has reached 3.7 degrees. This earthquake, intensity IV, was located at 2:31 am in the municipality of Fuencaliente and 13 kilometers deep.
The last of the earthquakes located during the first hours of this Tuesday occurred at 6.06 in Mazo, 12 kilometers deep and magnitude 3.
Of the 18 localized seismic movements, 11 have occurred in Fuencaliente, 5 in Mazo and 2 in Tazacorte, and of the total 8 have been of magnitude 3 or higher.
