Seismic activity decreases on La Palma

The technical director of the Volcanic Emergency Plan of the Canary Islands (Pevolca), thas said at a press conference that the activity La Palma volcano seismic has decreased slightly in recent hours and by magnitude of 3.7 in recent days. "We are calm because not only the seismicity has decreased but the terrestrial deformity has also been reduced, especially in Fuencaliente and Mazo, " he said. Technicians in recent hours have observed some stability and consider that the volcano is feeding on "small pockets of lava that are 10 or 15 kilometers away."
