Tenerife moves to alert level 2
The Minister of Health, Blas Trujillo, announced, after the analysis of the epidemiological report carried out early today, Tuesday, May 4, that Tenerife drops to alert level 2 after improving its indicators in recent days. The level change takes effect today with the publication of the Traffic Light that marks the levels and epidemiological indicators of each island.
Tenerife will remain at this level of alert until next May 11, when its indicators will be reviewed again to see if it remains at that level or if any changes should be made
According to the epidemiological report prepared by the General Directorate of Public Health of the Canary Islands Health Service, the average number of cases diagnosed on the Island went from 97 in the period between April 14 and 27 to an average of 75 registered in the last six days.
