Tenerife will have a direct flight to New York 3 times a week
The United Airlines company has announced that it will add 5 new transatlantic destinations next spring as part of its preparation for a rebound in travel between Europe and the United States next summer after the long break forced by COVID 19.
Among them is Tenerife, which will have a direct flight to New York (specifically to Newark) from June 9th. The frequency will be three weekly flights with a Boeing 757-200.
The direct flight from Tenerife to New York – seven hours long – is one of the aspirations the Island has been working for years to achieve.
