The tourist municipalities of Adeje and Arona account for almost 70% of the complaints
Once again, compared to the rest of the behaviors proposed for sanction, not respecting the established time limits, that is, the curfew, represents more than half of the total.
The National Police made 337 sanction proposals last week for various breaches of the regulations established to contain COVID-19, within the framework of prevention devices established in different parts of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Of the 337, two localities in Tenerife accounted for almost 70%. Specifically, Adeje and Arona, tourist municipalities in the south of the island, added 226.
Once again, compared to the rest of the behaviors proposed for sanction, not respecting the established time limits, that is, the curfew, represents more than half of the total, with 172 sanction proposals.
The National Police made 38 sanction proposals in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 35 in La Laguna, 30 between the towns of Puerto de la Cruz and Los Realejos, and eight in the town of Santa Cruz de La Palma.
The actions have been carried out by national police officers of the Provincial Police Station of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, who, in the different prevention devices, have had the collaboration of the different Local Police Corps of the localities to which they are refers.
