Three boats with more than 150 migrants rescued in Canary waters
Three boats with 153 migrants on board were rescued on Friday when they were sailing in the waters of the Canary Archipelago, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2. One of the boats, a pneumatic type, was located yesterday afternoon by Salvamento Marítimo and Guardia Civil to the east of Fuerteventura with 54 people who were transferred to Puerto del Rosario, evacuating two of them to the hospital.
Likewise, Salvamento Marítimo transferred a total of 99 migrants located in two boats to the Arguineguín dock (Gran Canaria). After being assessed by the health device, six needed to be transferred to the hospital.
