Unemployment fell in the Canary Islands by 2,827 people during March, by 1.0%

53,016 people have signed as unemployment over the past year.

The number of parados registered in the public employment offices of the Canary Islands fell by 2,827 people in March compared toFebruary, 1.00 percent, to a total of 280,650, according to data released on Tuesday by the Ministry of Labour.

Currently, 53,016 morepeople are targeted on the unemployment lists on the islands than in March 2020, representing a year-on-year increase of 23.29%.
